Access Community Health Centers is a non-profit organization with the mission of improving the health and lives of people who otherwise face financial, cultural, or language obstacles that prevent access to high-quality, affordable health care.
Access removes the barriers our patients may experience, offering them quality care regardless their ability to pay. We provide medical, dental, behavioral health, and affiliated pharmacy services based on our local community’s needs.
Our non-profit organization started in 1982, and now offers care to more than 31,000 individuals from throughout southwest Wisconsin at five locations in Madison, Sun Prairie and Dodgeville. Our team-based approach to care – with the patient an active participant in the care they receive – is what sets Access apart. By making sure each patient receives personalized care in a consistent and caring manner, patients are better equipped to make decisions regarding their health care and take control of their future health and well-being.
We listen to our patients, staff and community to understand their needs and provide care with empathy and respect.
We provide care and build community that respects the personal, social and cultural diversity reflected in our patients and staff.
We use the resources we are given effectively and efficiently, and we value innovation.
We believe that every person deserves quality healthcare to help them overcome barriers and create new opportunities.
We work together with healthcare organizations and local partners to improve the health of our community and expand care to those with limited access.
